Midterms

Oh the agony of midterms...

Late night study sessions, loads of caffeine (thank you Starbucks), in-class review sessions, and getting distracted from studying by logging on to facebook to change your status so that it says you are studying when you are actually facebook-stalking people. Through all of this madness, how is a college student supposed to find comfort?

First off, STAY OFF OF FACEBOOK! I know this step may be difficult, considering every college student in America has a facebook and is logged on for about ten hours out of the day. But seriously, this is where we go wrong in our study habits- we plan to be on facebook for five minutes and end up being online for about three hours. You can do it. Just FOCUS on the task at hand.

Secondly, rather than drinking ten cups off coffee for a caffeine rush, DRINK WATER. You will have more energy drinking water than drinking caffeine to stay awake to study at 3 am. Plus, it's healthier :)

Lastly, study in a place that is brightly lit. Whenever I study late at night, I turn on this lamp that I swear is as bright as the sun! :) Trust me, it works to have some light in your eyes to keep you awake.

Study hard everyone! Take advantage of all the study tools available to you and good luck on midterms! Reward yourselves when they're over by going out with your study group! :) But don't party too hard...

Go Devils!
Me :)
